Looking for a psychologist near North Sydney, Lane Cove, or Neutral Bay?

Our practice is conveniently located in the heart of North Sydney on Sydney’s North Shore, just minutes from Chatswood, St Leonards, Crows Nest, and surrounding suburbs like Kirribilli and Milsons Point. We’re also a short drive from the North Sydney CBD — ideal for professionals looking for weekday appointments close to work or home.

We understand that many of our clients are juggling multiple roles — as parents, partners, professionals, and carers — and come to therapy looking for clarity, steadiness, and practical tools that actually fit their busy lives. As your dedicated North Sydney psychologist, we’re here to provide that support.

Our Therapeutic Approach Explained

We believe the best therapy is a collaborative process that empowers you with skills for the long term. Instead of focusing solely on symptoms, our approach helps you understand the deeper patterns at play. We focus on evidence-based treatments including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy.

We often draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a unique approach that helps you build a rich and meaningful life even when facing difficult thoughts and feelings. It’s about building resilience and living in the present moment, rather than just eliminating unwanted symptoms.

Why a Clinical Psychologist Matters

Many people aren’t aware of the difference between a Registered and a Clinical Psychologist. A Clinical Psychologist has completed additional, specialized training—generally a Masters or Doctorate—which provides a deeper understanding of complex mental health conditions and the most effective, evidence-based treatments. This extra training ensures we provide the highest standard of care, offering you the best chance for meaningful, long-lasting change.
